Exchange & Return Policy
At Orniq, every piece of jewellery is individually inspected, carefully packed, and shipped with love before it reaches you. We take great pride in the quality of each order.
Our Exchange Promise
We do not offer returns or cash refunds. However, if something is not right with your order, we will make it right. We offer a 7-day exchange for the following reasons:
- • You received a manufacturing defect (broken clasp, colour defect, structural damage)
- • You received the wrong item (different SKU or design from what you ordered)
All other requests - including change of mind, colour preference, or size - are not eligible for exchange.
Conditions for Exchange
- • Exchange request must be raised within 7 days of delivery
- • Product must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
- • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact
- • A continuous unboxing video (recorded at the time of delivery opening) is mandatory for all exchange claims
- • Products purchased during sale or with special discount codes are not eligible for exchange
Why we require an unboxing video
We ask for an unboxing video to protect you and to resolve your claim as quickly as possible. This simple step helps us verify the issue and process your exchange without delays. We appreciate your cooperation
How to Raise an Exchange Request
- • Step 1: WhatsApp us at +91 93273 67768 within 7 days of delivery
- • Step 2: Share your Order ID, a description of the issue, and your unboxing video
- • Step 3: Our team will review and confirm eligibility within 24-48 hours
- • Step 4: You ship the item back to us (reverse pickup arranged by Orniq for eligible cases)
- • Step 5: Replacement dispatched within 3–5 business days of receiving your return
Items Not Eligible for Exchange
- • Items that are worn, used, or show signs of use
- • Items without original packaging or missing tags
- • Items damaged due to customer mishandling or negligence
- • Items purchased during clearance or sale events
- • Exchange requests raised after 7 days of delivery
- • Claims without an unboxing video
We genuinely care about your experience. If you have any concern, please reach out to us on WhatsApp before raising a formal request - most issues can be resolved quickly.
When Refunds Are Issued
A full refund will be issued in the following situations only:
- • Your order is confirmed but not dispatched, and you cancel within the eligible window (see Cancellation Policy)
- • Your order is lost in transit and cannot be recovered by the courier partner
- • Your order is undeliverable due to a verified address error on our side
Refund Process
- • Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- • Refund is credited to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking)
- • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer - please share your account details with our support team
- • Razorpay processing fees (if any) may be deducted from the refund amount for certain payment modes
Prepaid vs COD Refunds
- • Prepaid orders: Refunded to the original payment source
- • COD orders: Refunded via NEFT/IMPS to your bank account within 5-7 business days after confirmation
If your exchange results in a product that is permanently out of stock, we will offer a store credit of equal value valid for 6 months on orniq.in - not a cash refund.
